How to configure client settings

Configuring your client’s settings in Consentio takes just a few minutes but saves you hours of work!

Consentio Webapp

Firstly, go to your Workspace and select the ‘Clients’ section. Select the client from the list or add the client to your workspace if necessary (see here how to do it).

Client

The client section displays the name of the person, their company and a direct access to the chat.

image

Prices

By default, your new clients will not be able to see your prices giving you time to configure their settings properly. Once you have completed the full configuration, click on Only show.

image

You can also manage the price groups in which the client has been added (see how to create a price group). You can decide how they are applied either by the cheapest price first or another order that you decide.

image

When the client has a special discount or markup applied to the base price (either in the price shown in your catalogue or in the price group created), you can add it in this section. You can also setup the transport cost by kg or pallet and the currency that it is used by the client.

image

Orders

In this section, you can decide if the orders placed by this customer will be accepted manually by you, or automatically. If ‘automatically’, and you have ERP integration enabled, the order will pass directly to the ERP system without further intervention.

image

Integration

If your ERP system has been integrated with Consentio, you will add here the unique Customer Identity Code, which identifies this customer within the ERP system.

image

Addresses

In this section add the address of the client and the transport cost that you will charge them for delivering to that specific location. When the client has several addresses, add the transport cost for each address. The client will be able to see these extra costs when applied to the order.
