The first step to create your catalogue in Consentio is to create your products. Once your catalogue is created, you will be able to process your first sales!

Access your workspace section where you will find two products that appear by default as an example.
Next, click on the Create Product button. You will be redirected to a new window where you can add all the information regarding the product as follows:

🔸 Type of product: A drop down menu will appear and you will be able to select the product ‘type’ you are adding. If the product ‘type’ is not shown, you will be able to select ‘other’. Then please notify Consentio and we will add the new ‘type’ as soon as possible.
🔸 Display name: Specific name that you give to your product for your clients to see it.
🔸 Origin: Country where the Fresh produce was grown.
🔸 Packaging: This is an optional field.
🔸 Size: Size of the product. You can optionally enter a size description of the produce item.
🔸 Brand: Adding the brand’s name can help you to sell more, so don’t forget to add it.
🔸 EAN (GTIN) Code /PLU / UPC (if needed)
🔸 More information: In this section you can add a more complete description of the product or you can enter a link to more detailed product specifications.
🔸 Variety: Please type in the variety of the product that you are adding.
🆕 🔸 Region: Specific area, province or state where the Fresh produce was grown.
🔸 Grade: This optional field allows you to classify the category of the produce item you are adding. There are seven possible entries:
▪️Extra: Superior quality product
▪️Cat 1: Good quality product
▪️Cat 2: Reasonably good quality
▪️Cat 3
▪️Cat 4

🔸 Type of production: This is an optional field where you can specify the organic nature of the product. There are 4 possible options:
▪️ Unspecified
▪️ Conventional
▪️ Conversion
▪️ Organic
🔸 SKU – Stock keeping Unit: This information is important when Consentio has been integrated with your ERP system.
🧅 Pictures: You can add up to 4 photographs of your product. They are very important as they will be seen by your customers and potential customers!
🧅 Price: In this section you can add the price of the product and also the price unit that it will be displayed by default (box, kg, unit or pallet). This is your standard base price for the item, before any specific customer product prices are created using Price Groups (see how to create them here).
If the price on request button is enabled, the clients will be able to make you a ‘price offer’ for the goods that are being sold.
🧅 Distribution: This part will describe the packaging of the product.
🔸 Sales units: Define the units in which you will be selling the item.
🔸 Box weight: This optional field is for entering the weight of the box expressed in kilograms (Kg) or in Pounds (lbs).
🔸 Units per box: Optional field where you can define how many pieces of a product can fit inside a box.
🔸 Boxes/pallet: Whilst this is an optional field, we recommend completing it as this number will be used to calculate the number of pallets that will be used for shipping.
🆕🔸 Pallet height: This optional field allows you to define the pallet height.
🔸 Box type: This optional field allows you to define the packaging type. The ‘drop down menu’ provides the following selections:

▪️ Plastic
▪️ Polystyrene

▪️ Wood
🆕🔸 Box tare: This optional field allows you to define the weight of the empty product container.
🔸 Pallet type: This optional field will allow you to choose the type of pallet that you will use. Entries are selected from a drop-down menu:

🆕 🧅 Product status: choose from the available status:
▪️ Available → The item is on stock.
▪️Out of stock → The item is not available to be bought currently.
▪️Hidden → The item won’t be shown in your catalogue.
🧅 Product pricegroups: You can edit the price of the product for the different price groups in which it is included or add it to existing ones by clicking on Go to the price groups related with this product button.
You can add this product to other price groups clicking on Add product to other price groups button.
Next, select the price groups you want and click on the Add to price groups button.
🧅 Sections: Sections are used for sorting and selection and help to make your catalogue ‘user friendly’. To create a new section, simply enter a description. In the drop down menu, you can select from your ‘already created’ sections. You can choose as many as you want for each product.
